Questions about Purus, your account, or a subscription? Email us at contact@purushealth.ai. We read every message and reply by email.
So we can help quickly, send it from the email address on your Purus account. If something isn’t working, tell us what you were doing, and include your iPhone model and iOS version.
Your account
Reset your password
On the sign-in screen, enter your email and tap Forgot password?. We’ll email you a link that opens in your browser.
Change your email or password
Tap the person icon on the Today screen to open your profile, then go to Sign-in & security.
Delete your account
Tap the person icon on the Today screen, then go to Account and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, meals, logs, meal photos, and settings. It can’t be undone.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store settings first (see below). If you can’t sign in, email us from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you.
Purus Plus and Purus Pro
Cancel or change your plan
Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store and billed to your Apple Account. To cancel or switch plans, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also get there from Purus: open your profile, go to Account, and tap Manage subscription. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Restore a purchase
If you’ve subscribed and Purus doesn’t show it, open your profile, go to Account, and tap Restore purchases. The plans screen has the same option.
Refunds
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why can’t I get Purus Pro?
Pro meal plans are for adults in the U.S. who follow an omnivore, Mediterranean, vegetarian, vegan, or pescatarian diet, or no specific diet. You can update your age and diet in your profile. Purus Plus is available to everyone.
Reminders
Choose which reminders Purus sends, and when, in your profile under Alerts. You can set meal windows and quiet hours, pause reminders, or change your weekly recap. To turn off all notifications, open the Settings app, tap Notifications, then Purus.
Where the numbers come from
Purus estimates your exposure from the foods you log. Foods and nutrition come from USDA FoodData Central. Contaminant estimates are category averages built from FDA Total Diet Study results, USDA Pesticide Data Program samples, and independent lab data. Daily limits come from published FDA, EPA, and EFSA references, scaled to your body weight where the reference is weight-based.
These are estimates, not lab tests of the food you ate. In the app, each estimate shows where it came from and how many samples it is based on.
Purus is for general information and is not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before making medical decisions or major changes to your diet.
