Purus works inside AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Meta Muse. Ask yours to order this week’s Purus groceries, check whether a food is a good swap, log what you just ate, or tell you how your day is going. It uses your Purus account, so it sees the same plan, targets and limits as the app.
Connect
In your assistant’s connector settings, add Purus with this server address, then sign in to Purus and approve the connection:

In Claude, that is Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. You see exactly which assistant is asking, and where approval sends you, before anything is shared.
What it can do
Read tools only look things up. Write tools change your Purus log or shopping list.
get_shopping_list(Read, Purus Pro): This week’s shopping list by aisle, with amounts, what to buy organic and what you already have.get_meal_plan(Read, Purus Pro): This week’s meals by day, with calories, protein and, if asked, recipes.get_today(Read, every plan): Today’s calories and macros against your targets, and heavy metals against your limits. Plus and Pro add your 7-day Purus Score.check_food(Read, every plan): Nutrition and heavy metals for a food or a product barcode, against your limits.log_meal(Write, every plan): Logs a meal you describe in words.log_planned_meal(Write, Purus Pro): Logs a meal from your plan as eaten.remove_logged_meal(Write, every plan): Deletes a meal logged by mistake.mark_groceries_on_hand(Write, Purus Pro): Marks shopping-list items as on hand after they are ordered.
It works on your plan as the app does: meal plans and shopping lists are part of Purus Pro; the 7-day Purus Score is part of Plus and Pro. Meals can be logged for today and yesterday, or up to 7 days back on Plus and Pro.
A connected assistant acts as you in Purus, the way the app does, so beyond these tools it could make other changes you can make in the app, such as your plan settings. It can’t see your password or payment details, change or cancel your subscription, delete your account, or use brand or admin tools.
